About Us

Green Planet Gardening is a family run business, with over 35 years experience in landscaping and fencing.

Owner, Lee Sheppard, has been working within the landscaping trade since he was 16 years old with his first job being with Blackfords. Waking up early to ride his bike to the yard on a YTS (Youth Training) scheme whilst attending Lackham Horticulture College was not easy, but all worth it when he was appointed manager to work along side his friend and then boss Eddie Neilson. He stayed with Blackfords for 30 years homing in on all aspects of landscaping and fencing.

During his time at Blackfords, Lee soon realised that his passion was to own his own landscaping company and use all the skills he had learned to do so. Green Planet Gardening has now been running for the past 5 years and has grown from strength to strength.
